I finished a the "Simply Pretty Bag" I has started in the class I took at Foothills Fabric and Threads quilting store with Ramona Hereman last Wednesday (see Ramona - I finished it, like I said I would).
I made a new bag based on the pattern, but I lengthened the handles to make it a hang over the shoulder bag, rather than just a carry in the hands bag.

I also bought the Dear Jane book..... argghhhh
For years I have been telling myself not to buy it, but I have... and I have bought a bunch of '30s material to enhance my stash and I will "attempt" to do it in the '30s colours. I have bought 8 meters of a beautiful pale pink as the background fabric. I will start my first few blocks this weekend coming.

I love those 1930's prints. I have a reall weakness for them myself.
Yep, I have such a weakness for the 30's prints :)
I did Leanne's House (www.Leanneshouse.typepad.com) BOM in 30's - I am still finishing it - there is a lot of stitchery in it.
